for DAMAGING WINDS
for Lord Howe Island.

HEADLINE: DAMAGING WINDS EXPECTED ON MONDAY AT LORD HOWE ISLAND

Weather Situation
A complex low pressure system lies over the southwest Tasman Sea. A low
pressure trough associated with this system is expected to move across Lord
Howe Island late on Monday. Ahead of the trough, strong to gale force north to
northeasterly winds are expected to develop from the early hours of Monday,
easing on Monday evening as the trough moves across the island.

The average wind speed is expected to exceed 65 km/h, with peak wind gusts
exceeding 90 km/h.
The NSW State Emergency Service advise you:
- Stay indoors away from windows and keep children indoors.

The next warning will be issued by 10:00pm EST Sunday 19/06/2016.
