What started out as a frustrating day soon turned in to an amazing storm filled afternoon.
A storm near Michelago kept us on our toes with bolts everywhere including getting a little too close for comfort at a mire 600m away and then to ensure we got the message to move along one at just 200m away just as we got in to the car!
This trend continued as we moved to a new location with bolts raining down with in the 200 to 400m bracket.
After this storm died off, we went after new development just west of Canberra which became a potential Super Cell thunderstorm which move through Canberra bringing areas of large hail.
We tracked this in to its dieing stages near Sutton.
