Southern Tablelands Chase - 24/01/15
Myself and Chris had a good chase today.
Our target was Braidwood NSW. We baked in the hot sun as storms fired all around us except for our area, Despite this we kept our patience and finally jumped onto a developing storm just south of town.
We watched the storm evolve from nice congestus to a large thunderstorm complex which contained great structure at times and amazing greenage. New growth kept developing on the northwestern flank meaning we were in the game for a good couple of hours. The quality of the lightning was incredible, and the contrast /greenage made them look even more impressive.
