Fathers Day Sunny, becoming windy, thunderstorms and snow on the way!

03/09/17 - 11:00AM

Happy Fathers Day to the Dad's out there!

Things have been a little slow warming up this morning but once that cloud burns off we should see temps jump up on the coast where as inland we already see temps between 25-28c with Bourke already at 30c

Some thunderstorm activity has kicked off early in the Central West Slopes and Plains region and should fire up again this afternoon becoming more widespread.

Thunderstorms are possible on the Southern Highlands/Tablelands this afternoon as well but I don't expect anything too note worthy.

The main feature by afternoon with be strong to gusty winds so please use this morning to secure any loose items the BoM already have a warning out for this.

Monday is going to feel quite bitter compared with today with Snow forecast down to 700m, so what a contrast!!
