Southerly Change - 16/04/15 UPDATE #4

Well here we are at 2:30pm as this weaker Southerly Change pushes its way up the coast, It is really struggling to break in land at present but it is progressing. It is going to break inland a little later than I expected however Southerly changes and timing are notoriously hard to get 100%.

Sometime later this afternoon/evening by around 4pm it should have or be signs of making its way inland.

Currently along the coast it has reached the northern suburbs of Wollongong. At Bellambi it has dropped the temperature from 31.2c to 22.1c.

Kiama went from 30.9c to 21.8c
Albion Park went from 31c is now down to 23c
Nowra went from 29.6c to 23.1c
Ulladulla from 27.2c to a more autumn 23c.

The change will now make its way in to Sydney around 3-3:30pm and start to drop temperatures there and moving further up the coast in to the evening.

On the back of this change there is a small 10% chance of a pop up thunderstorm or two mainly around western Sydney, Southern Highlands, Hunter regions. I won't rule out a small storm for the coast but chances are low.

Have a great afternoon!
